Long term disability denied twice - is it worth getting a lawyer?
I have a chronic condition that's made it impossible to work my old job. Applied for LTD through my employer's policy.
First denial: "Insufficient documentation" - sent more docs
Second denial: "Does not meet definition of disability under policy"
I've been out of work for 6 months now. Living off savings which are almost gone.
Is it worth hiring a disability attorney at this point? I've heard they work on contingency but I dont know if my case is strong enough. Anyone been through this process?
