Michigan no-fault auto reform - how does this affect claims now?

Got in an accident and dealing with the new Michigan no-fault system. Im confused about which coverage applies when. I chose the lower PIP option to save money but now worried I made a mistake.

Can someone explain how the current Michigan auto claim process works? Do I go through my insurance or theirs? What if my PIP runs out?
