Renters insurance - does it cover my laptop stolen from my car?

My car was broken into and they stole my laptop, camera, and some other stuff. The car itself wasnt damaged much. My auto insurance said personal property isnt covered under comprehensive.

Someone mentioned renters insurance might cover personal property theft even from a car. Is that true? I have a policy through Lemonade but never read the fine print honestly.
