Started keeping a home inventory after my break-in

Got burglarized last month and realized I had no documentation of what I owned. Made the claim process so much harder.

Now I walk through my house twice a year filming everything, keep receipts in a cloud folder, and have photos of serial numbers. Learn from my mistake.
